TOIFA Awards 2025 celebrated cinematic excellence, honouring both theatrical releases and OTT content. Set to take place on December 1, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt, Santacruz in Mumbai.

The carpet was blue, and the lights matched it, casting a beautiful glow at the Times of India Film Awards 2025 presented by M3M India and others.

Neha Dhupia hosted the show, joined by Arjun Kapoor and Aparshakti Khurana, and turned the stage into an OTT-style set with their brisky and self-deprecatory jokes about sharing their initials.

Times of India Film Awards 2025 Highlights

The event begins with the National Anthem, setting the tone for a night celebrating and honouring excellence across two parallel streams – TOIFA OTT and TOIFA Theatrical Edition.

The TOIFA Awards event was first set to introduce the Honours for the Women category.

Payal Kapadiya was named Visionary Woman of the Year, Guneet Monga and Kiran Rao, Powerful Voice of Cinema, whereas Nandita Das was awarded the Champions of Change Award.

The event night at the Grand Hyatt in Santacruz belongs to Laapataa Ladies, which dominated and won theatrical categories, including Film of the Year, with undeniable charm.

Furthermore, Sparsh Srivastava won the Acting Excellence (Male) while Ravi Kishan took home two awards, for Acting Excellence in a Comedy Role and Supporting Role (Male).

While Kiran Rao was honoured for Excellence in Direction.

Sneha Desai won both Dialogue and Screenplay awards, and Wiplab Goswami was recognised for the story.

While the OTT media delivered its own stunning moments, Amar Singh Chamkila swept the web-film categories, with Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra both winning acting honours.

Imtiaz Ali won for direction and writing, AR Rahman for background score, and the film was named OTT Film of the Year.

Among the web series, Mirzapur S3 won Drama Series of the Year, “Panchayat S3” won Comedy Series, ‘Killer Soup’ won Crime/Thriller Series, and The Great Indian Kapil Show was honoured with Reality Show of the Year.

Jitendra Kumar bagged Acting Excellence (Male) for Kota Factory S3, while Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar saw Manish Koirala win Acting Excellence (Female), and Sonakshi Sinha won for a Negative Role.
