Salman Khan is all set to arrive on Diwali with his action entertainer Tiger 3 and the film has received a positive nod from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Directed by Maneesh Sharma, this film belongs to the Spy Universe created by Yash Raj Films.
The CBFC has cleared Tiger 3 with zero cuts, only ordering tweaks in the dialogues, reported Bollywood Hungama.The Examining Committee has not given any visual cuts but asked the makers to replace the word ‘bewakoof’ with ‘mashroof’ and ‘foolish’ with ‘busy’ in the subtitles. In places where RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) was mentioned, the CBFC asked the makers to correct it to R&AW, which is the correct abbreviation. The report also stated that ‘the modification with respect to the National Anthem is retained as per request’. The film, which received a U/A certificate on October 27, has a runtime of 2 hours and 33 minutes.
Salman Khan returns in the titular role while Katrina Kaif will be seen essaying the leading lady and Emraan Hahsmi plays the villain. Apart from this trio, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen essaying a special cameo in his character of Pathaan.
Buzz for the movie is high in the overseas market too. Due to high advance sales exhibitors demanded that ‘Tiger 3’ should be released on November 11 in overseas territories. Hence, the movie will be screened in the International territories, including the Middle East and western markets on November 11, 9PM. Asia Pacific and Australia and New Zealand markets will open on November 12.
