On December 12, Jimin and Jungkook enlisted for the mandatory military service, making them the last of BTS to join the Army. They were reunited with Jin on their enlistment day, he has been training since a year, after joining the training on December 13, 2022.
Sharing a picture from the enlistment day with Jimin and Jungkook, Jin wrote, “I thought it would be funny…but it brought tears to my eyes.” Dressed in uniform, Jin is seen posing with Jimin and Jungkook.
Jin, the eldest member, has reportedly taken on the role of an assistant drill instructor at the challenging 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon. He has progressed from basic training to a mentorship position and will reportedly guide new recruits through the rigorous training regimen. As Jimin and Jungkook started their military service at the same 5th Infantry Division, they will be trained by Jin. The two singers are expected to undergo five weeks of intensive basic training before being assigned to their respective units.
While all members are in military, Big Hit unveiled a teaser from BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star Docuseries, announcing that they are releasing a photobook titled ‘Beyond The Stage’ BTS Documentary Photobook: The Day We Meet. The teaser commemorates emotional quotes of RM, V, Jimin, Jungkook, Jin, Suga and J-Hope, when they dealt with the pandemic. Their Map Of The Soul Tour was called off due to Covid outbreak and they dearly yeared for a reunion with fans, which came after two years.
