When asked about it, Paresh told India Today that if Hera Pheri 3 becomes a good film then he will always have this example of Munnabhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munnabhai.
She stated that the sequels should be radically different, take a quantum leap, take characters and the audiences also to a different world. “That’s how it should be. If it comes out like that, fine. But then let’s see how it works out,” he said.
Paresh also spoke about his equation with Akshay and Suniel and said that they share the same bond with each other since Hera Pheri. He also mentioned that after Hera Pheri also they worked together in many films and they respect each other as an artist, as human beings and friends.

He added that both Akshay and Suniel are secure actors and they all know what they have to do or what is expected from the characters they are playing. “It’s not a kind of a dark area that we don’t know what is expected of us. We know character mein kya karna hain kya nahi karna hain,” he said.
Meanwhile, Paresh’s Shastry Virudh Shastry is set to be released in theatres on November 3. Directed by Nandita Roy, the film delves into a subject that resonates in nearly every household but is seldom vocalised – the essence of parenthood and the extent to which the law should determine the fate of a child.
As the story unfolds in the courtroom, it pits love against law, challenging viewers to question whether parents are always right, and in the court of love, who truly deserves to be the guardian, according to the makers. Mimi Chakraborty, Amruta Subhash, Manoj Joshi, Neena Kulkarni and Shiv Panditth also round out the cast of the film.
