Throwback: When Akshaye Khanna admitted he couldn’t take his eyes off Aishwarya Rai; called her ‘sexiest actor in Bollywood’

Akshaye Khanna, who has worked with Aishwarya Rai in films like, ‘Taal‘ and ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen‘, once spoke about how she finds the actress one of the Bollywood‘s sexiest actresses.
Karan Johar had posed a question to Akshaye during his chat show, asking, ‘Who is the sexiest girl in the business right now?’ Without much hesitation, Akshaye promptly named Aishwarya. He then went on to lavish praise on the Bollywood beauty.

Akshaye confessed that he couldn’t take his eyes off her every time he met her.

According to him, it is embarrassing for men. Akshaye thinks Aishwarya must be used to people staring at her, but he is not used to not being able to take his eyes off somebody. The actor added that one just keeps staring at her like a lunatic.

Both of their films, ‘Taal’ and ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen,’ did not perform well at the box office. However, thier chemistry in ‘Taal’ was much-appreciated by the audience. The movie ven won several awards, including three Filmfare awards. As of now, the actors have not appeared together in another movie.
Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2.’ The film also featured Tamil actors Trisha Krishnan, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, and Karthi. Akshaye, on the other hand, was last seen in ‘Drishyam 2’ with Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and others.
