When Tom was asked who he would like to see in the role if given an option, he immediately replied, “Shah Rukh Khan.He would be great. He is a good variant, I think.”
Tom also talked about his extraordinary experience of watching Shah Rukh’s 2002 film Devdas and told Bollywood Hungama, “I remember it was quite a long time ago now. I remember going to see Devdas. I mean that’s quite an old film. I remember going to see that at my local cinema, and it was such an extraordinary. I would say I have never seen anything like that. So, yeah I remember that very much.”

Meanwhile, Tom has thanked fans in India for showering love on Loki 2. In a video message on Instagram, the actor reached out to his fans in India and said, “Namaste to everybody watching in India. I am so, so happy to see all the love for ‘Loki Season 2’ across India – truly some of the greatest fans. Thank you for all the love and support and excitement. I hope you enjoyed watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.”
Loki 2 also features Sophia Di Martino and Owen Wilson on the cast of the show as they reprise their roles from the first season. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, with Jonathan Majors, and Ke Huy Quan also play pivotal roles.
The series follows the misadventures of Loki after the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” where a version of the character escapes with the Tesseract during a time-traveling mission. This alternate version of Loki finds himself facing the Time Variance Authority (TVA), an organization responsible for monitoring and managing the timelines of the universe. In the TVA, Loki becomes involved in a unique set of circumstances that challenge his understanding of reality and time.
The Loki series is a part of Phase Four of the MCU. Tom Hiddleston reprised his role as Loki, the God of Mischief, a character he has portrayed in several Marvel films, including Thor, The Avengers, and Thor: Ragnarok.
