Buil Film Awards 2025 Winners & Nominations List

The 34th Buil Film Awards is scheduled to be held on 18 September 2025 at Signiel Busan Grand Ballroom in Haeundae District, Busan. This year’s Buil Film Awards 2025 were presented in 16 categories, selected from 149 Korean films released over the past year, from August 11, 2024 to July 10, 2025.

The prestigious 2025 Buil Film Awards have officially announced its list of nominees on July 25, 2025, where the Spy-thriller Harbin was the most nominated in the 7 categories.

They include Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. The award ceremony will be hosted by South Korean actor Kim Nam-gil and actress Chun Woo-hee.

About Buil Film Awards

The Buil Film Awards is a South Korean film awards ceremony hosted by the Busan Ilbo newspaper. Started in 1958 as one of the earliest Film Awards in the country. During the 1950s and 1960s, it was Busan’s biggest annual Film Awards event, paused from 1994 to 2007, due to government censorship and TV’s rising popularity.
