It was launched by Vishnu Vardhan Induri & Brinda Prasad Adusimilli to honour the excellence of filmmakers across the South Indian film industries, including Tamil cinema, Telugu cinema, Malayalam & Kannada cinema, and provide them huge platforms to promote South Indian films in international markets.
