Earlier in January, the Seoul Music Awards organizing committee opted for a production company through an official bidding process to handle stage direction, on-site management, and live broadcasting.

By partnering with a highly experienced production team, this year’s event show aims to deliver an even more dynamic and spectacular event for fans.

About Seoul Music Awards

The popular music, Seoul Music Awards, was first celebrated in 1990, and since the award show has grown into a definitive stage for summarizing the Korean music industry every year.

For the past three decades, it has played a pivotal role in the global K-pop phenomenon, uniting the year’s top K-pop stars for a spectacular celebration.

In the inaugural season of the SMA 2025, the grand prize was awarded to the singer Byun Jin-sub. Boy group BTS holds the record for the most awards won, with a total of 27.

They are also tied with the Exo for the highest number of Grand prizes, each having won four.
